Kedar Development Partners is focused on advancing hospitality and destination opportunities across Africa. We bring sponsor strategy, development planning and specialist collaboration into a coordinated process.
Our role
A destination needs more than an attractive concept. It needs an appropriate structure, a feasible plan and clear responsibilities. Kedar’s intended role is to originate and evaluate opportunities, coordinate the development workstreams and bring relevant partners into the process.
That role can include project definition, specialist engagement, commercial structuring and the preparation of information for partner assessment. The scope of Kedar’s involvement in each opportunity is established through the relevant agreements.
How the platform is structured
The sponsor platform and a project company perform different roles. The sponsor coordinates the opportunity and relationships. Project-specific companies may be established to hold rights and enter into development, operating and financing agreements as an opportunity advances.
A proposal or discussion does not itself establish ownership, development rights, funding or an operator appointment.
