Who is responsible
Kedar Development Partners is the controller of personal information handled for the purposes described in this notice. Contact address: 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. Email: [email protected].
Information we handle
When you contact us, we receive the information you provide, which may include your name, contact details, organisation and the content of your enquiry. Our hosting and security services also process technical information needed to provide and protect the website, such as IP addresses, request details and browser information.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or confidential project documents in an initial enquiry.
Purposes and legal bases
We use enquiry information to respond, assess the relevance of a potential relationship and manage correspondence. Where appropriate, this is necessary to take steps you request before entering into a contract. For other business enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interests in communicating with potential counterparties and managing business relationships, balanced against your rights.
We use necessary technical information for our legitimate interests in running and securing the website. If another purpose or legal basis becomes relevant, we will provide the required information before using personal data for that purpose.
Service providers and other recipients
Our service providers support website hosting, security and business email. We use Cloudflare (website hosting, DNS and security) and Google Workspace (business email). Enquiries sent to our email addresses are received by core Kedar personnel and, for legal and commercial correspondence, by named advisers who support Kedar. They are not otherwise copied to third parties. Where a matter requires professional advice, relevant information may be forwarded to appropriate advisers on a case-by-case basis, subject to confidentiality and applicable data-protection requirements.
We do not sell personal information. Any direct marketing requires a separately assessed lawful basis and compliance with applicable communications rules.
International processing
Our current arrangements are that these providers may process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States, under recognised safeguards such as the UK-US data bridge or standard contractual clauses. You can contact us for information about relevant safeguards.
Retention
We retain information for the purpose for which it was collected and applicable legal or record-keeping needs. Our approved enquiry retention period or criteria are 12 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing relationship or a legal obligation; website security-log retention is 30 days. Records related to an ongoing relationship may require different retention. We review retention and restrict access to information that must be kept.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and legal basis, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, object to processing or receive certain information in a portable form. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Not every right applies in every circumstance.
To make a request, contact [email protected]. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concerns, but this does not affect your right to complain.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set cookies and does not use browser storage or analytics. Our hosting provider may process technical request data to deliver and secure the site, as described above. If this changes, we will update this notice before any non-essential technology is used.
Providing information and decisions
You can browse the public website without making an enquiry. If you contact us, sufficient contact and enquiry information is needed for us to respond. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling in relation to website visitors or enquiries.
Changes
We update this notice when the way we handle information changes. The date above shows the latest revision.
